Lamb of God began their ascent to the forefront of modern heavy metal 15 years ago as a self-described “pure American metal” quintet from Richmond, VA. Beloved by a rabid, grass roots cult of underground thrash fanatics, the band has released five albums. Multiple Grammy Award nominated heavy metal band GWAR has been a mainstay in the global metal scene since 1985. Known for their elaborate stage shows and sci-fi/horror inspired costumes, the band is releasing their eleventh studio album Lust in Space on August 18. Arizona’s Job for a Cowboy recently released their sophomore album Ruination, the follow up to their breakthrough 2007 debut Genesis. The band are currently touring as part of the Mayhem Festival which also includes Slayer, Marilyn Manson and Killswitch Engage.
