FAQs

What’s Shore Club on the Cove?

The Sundown Salut takes place on the grounds beside the Shore Club – where you may have parked in the past – and overlooks the cove.

How is this different from Matt’s previous shows at the Shore Club?

It’s outdoors – bigger and better than ever for the 20th anniversary of Matt performing in Hubbards!

What if it rains?

This event is rain or shine, so come prepared!

How do I get there?

You can book a seat on the shuttle, which runs from the Sobeys at Exit 3 in Timberlea. If you’re driving, you must purchase a parking pass in advance. Check out those options here. Shore Club Road will be restricted to parking pass holders and local traffic only.

A drop-off and pick-up point is a short walk from the club, and you can pre-book rides with Casino Taxi, Atlantis Limousine, or Uber. You must pre-book at least 1 – 2 weeks in advance.

How do I access my ticket?

To mitigate re-sale, tickets will not be delivered to your Tixr account until Aug. 14. Before you make your way to Hubbards, ensure you’ve downloaded your ticket in the Tixr app, taken a screenshot of the barcode(s), or added it to your mobile wallet. Cell service can be spotty in Hubbards, so you must do this in advance.

Please double check the day and date on your tickets before you arrive – tickets are only valid on the day listed in the ticket name (Thu, Fri, Sat).

Where do I pick up the parking pass I ordered?

Parking passes will be distributed at the entrance to Shore Club Road. Please have your parking ticket (QR code) downloaded before you arrive.

What time does parking open?

Parking opens at 3 p.m. for those with lobster supper reservations and 4 p.m. for Lobster Pot and other ticket holders.

What type of ID do I need?

This is a 19+ event, so you are required to show a government-issued, valid photo ID (i.e. not expired). If you appear to be under 25, you may be asked for additional ID (e.g., health card, credit card), so come prepared. Photos of your ID cannot be accepted as a valid identification.

When do gates open?

Gates open at 5 p.m., and music starts at 6 p.m.

Can I leave and come back?

No, re-entry is not permitted.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

There is a small designated smoking/vaping section on the grounds. Alcohol is strictly prohibited in the smoking section, and smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited in the General Admission and VIP sections. Now more than ever, we kindly ask you to ensure that your cigarette butts are fully extinguished and dispose of them properly in the designated receptacles.

Is food available on-site?

Yes, two food trucks will be serving food on-site as soon as the gates open, along with Shore Club burgers & pizza!

Do you have water stations?

Yes, water will be available on-site. Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

What’s available at the bar?

A selection from Molson, Lightfoot & Wolfville, Barkeep cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash, credit, and debit will be accepted for food, beverages, and merch.

Is the site accessible?

The site is a mix of grassy terrain and gravel. If you have concerns about site access, please contact info@sonicconcerts.com as soon as possible. Those with accessibility needs may enter through the VIP lane at the main gate and accessible toilets are available in both the General Admission and VIP areas.

What is VIP and how can I upgrade my ticket?

The VIP section offers upgraded washrooms, a premium bar, a dedicated entrance lane for quick entry, as well as limited seating and shelter (available on a first come, first served basis).

To upgrade your ticket, log in to your Tixr account and select your tickets. You should see an option to transfer or upgrade. If you received tickets from someone else via the transfer option, you will need to contact info@sonicconcerts.com to upgrade.

What’s the difference between a VIP ticket and the Lobster Pot?

VIP tickets offer access to an exclusive section within the concert grounds. The Lobster Pot includes lobster suppers for 4, 4 tickets to view the concert from the Shore Club deck overlooking the grounds, and 1 parking spot.

Can I bring a chair?
